Trust me when I say this is the best banana bread recipe ever. I have cooked this hundreds of times and obsess over it every single time. It’s perfect for breakfast, desert, or even just a snack throughout the day. Even my extremely picky toddler loves this recipe! He loves helping me cook it too and it’s super easy. You can make this in a loaf pan or a bundt pan. I normally just do a bundt pan. If you decide to use a loaf pan you’re going to end up with at least 2 batches.
-2 cups sugar
-1 cup softened sweet cream butter (1 stick of butter)
-2 cups flour
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-6 tbsp butter milk OR whole milk
-2 tsp baking soda
-1-2 cups of ripe bananas (about 4-5 bananas)
If the bananas you have aren’t ripe enough you can lay the bananas (still in peel) on a cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
– (optional) 1/4 cup ground OR whole flax seed
– (optional) 1 cup diced strawberries
✹ Preheat oven to 300 degrees
✹ Mix all of the ingredients together and let stand in the mixer for about an hour.
✹ I like to butter the Bundt pan with the stick and add a tiny bit of raw sugar to it so it gives it a bit of a sugar coating.
✹ Pour mixture into greased Bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
✹ Make sure to check if it’s done with a toothpick before removing from oven. When center of the Bundt pan is 195-200 degrees it’s PERFECT ❣️
✹ Let cool and then slice.
I promise you will be using this recipe over and over again. It is seriously THE best banana bread I’ve ever had. It’s so moist and soooo yummy! I love making it in the mornings because it’s the perfect breakfast and normally it’s gone within 48 hours. My 2.5 year old is also obsessed with it!
Let me know if you make this for you and your family!
